Meet our illumibrate artist - J.B. Daniels J.B. Daniels is a Boise-based artist. His inspiration comes from nature, mathematics, the interplay of light, and the limitations of materials at hand. He has worked in sculpture, painting, fabrication and metal casting. For him art is an exploration of new techniques.
What is the goal of this artwork? To take the recognizable form of the wolf, and transform it into light, reflecting the mystical energies these majestic creatures channel. Why do wolves fascinate us? They are the dogs who chose to remain free and wild. They are a reminder of what we lost when we gained civilization.
