Dia de Muertos (Day of the Dead) Workshops
This year, Sugar Skull decorating and Mini Altar making will be first come, first served. Come early to reserve your space. Crafts and face painting will be available throughout & Storytelling begins at 10:30 AM!

MINI ALTAR MAKING | 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM
To learn the meaning of Día de Muertos, join us for a FREE mini altar workshop. Iliana Sandoval will share the historical tradition of celebrating our loved ones who have passed by creating altars. Participants are encouraged to bring a photo, or small item that symbolizes the person to be remembered. A limited number of shoe boxes will be provided; please bring your own, if you are able. Supplies are limited, so come early to reserve a spot.
SUGAR SKULL DECORATING | 12:30 - 1:30 PM
Carolyn Bevington will discuss the importance of the sugar skull tradition during Dia de Muertos. Participants will learn to make and decorate sugar skulls. Supplies are limited, so come early to reserve a spot.
