JUMP IN A BOX

Location: Lobby

JUMP in a Box is all about finding fun, new ways to connect! These activities encourage you to think out of the box, step out of your comfort zone, and try something new. Boxes are free and available to checkout at the front desk, just be sure to return them when you're done. Ask our front desk for a JUMP in a Box menu to pick your activity.  

LOBBY ACTIVITIES 

Location: Lobby/Share Studio  

The creative activity changes every month. Ask the Visitor Experience Specialist at the front desk to learn what is available. Grab a comfortable spot, bring a friend, make a new one and create together.  

If making music (or noise) is more your cup of tea, you can check out one of the instruments at the front desk. Instruments include acoustic guitars, a ukelele, and a keyboard! 

JUMPO 

Location: Start in the Lobby 

Want to find all the hidden treasures of JUMP? Play JUMPO! This spin on BINGO takes players all around the JUMP campus, inside and out, so you can learn what JUMP is all about through exploring. Bring your JUMPO card back to the front desk when you’re all done. If you got a JUMPO (five in a row, any direction) you’ll get a small prize. Fill out your whole card (BLACKOUT), and you’ll get to pick from our treasure chest of prizes! All ages are invited and encouraged to participate. You can find JUMPO cards at our front desk.

ATTRACTIONS AROUND JUMP

We invite you to take an adventure through JUMP to explore and discover surprises around every corner. Experience something new, discover new possibilities, and let your imagination go wild as you wander through this out-of-the-box creative center and community gathering space. 

JUMPSTER 

Location: Lobby  

JUMP isn’t just an acronym… when you enter JUMP, take a fun leap of faith in our lobby, and watch yourself replay in slow motion with the JUMPSTER.   

J.R. SIMPLOT LISTEN & LEARN  

Location: Lobby near the fireplace 

Open the large metal spade, heart, clover and diamond to learn about J.R. Simplot’s life through four short audio clips recorded by him and those who knew him well.  

PLAY BUTTON 

Location: 4th Floor outside PLAY Studio  

Press the giant PLAY button on the “A” of the PLAY Studio and see what surprising noises sound! 

THE NEST 

Location: 4th Floor outside next to INSPIRE 

The Nest is a safe place to hatch new ideas and let your imagination take flight! Connect via Bluetooth and stream your favorite music or podcast to the speakers within The Nest.  

MOLLY THE MULE  

Location: JUMP Park - Corner of Front & 11th  

As part of Simplot’s Vintage Tractor Collection, our newest exhibit is Molly the Mule. Molly is an animatronic mule that moves, brays and powers a vintage farm equipment treadmill.   

FIND FUN IN THE JUMP PARK!  

SLIDES 

Location: 5th Floor  

Take the plunge and get your adrenaline rush in the Slide Zone - a great place for taking risks, team building, and gatherings! Find our current slide hours here or check or social media for daily updates.  

CLIMBER 

Location: JUMP Park 

This is not your average playground, but nothing at JUMP is average! The Climber is a three-story net structure, designed to allow people to challenge themselves.  

MISTER  

Location: JUMP Park  

The Mister is a colored-light fountain designed to encourage innovative play and elicit imagination. The warmer it gets, the more often you’ll see it going off.  

SPLASH PAD & WHIRLYGIG 

Location: JUMP Park 

Look for the columns of water that beckon you to cool off on a hot day. The splash pad is open seasonally, find it near the colorful wind-powered whirlygig spinning in The Park.  

YARD GAMES  

Location: JUMP Park/Front Lawn  

Corn Hole, Ladder Ball, Giant Jenga, Velcro Paddle Catch Ball, Giant Connect 4, and more are all available to play when the weather is nice! If they are already out to play with, just ask the front desk.   

BASKETBALL COURT 

Location: JUMP Park  

Play a game of pickup game of basketball on our blue top! Basketballs are available to check out at the front desk.

FIND THE BEST VIEW 

JUMP has incredible views of downtown Boise. Find your favorite view then share it with us by tagging @jumpboise on Instagram. Grab your lunch, find a seat, and enjoy the views.  

Tours

TRACTOR TOURS

Location: Tour begins in the Lobby  

Come meet the renowned Tractor Doctor, Rob Bearden, on Wednesdays at noon for a free tour of our vintage tractor collection! Tour length is one hour and limited to 25 people. Please call 208.639.6610 for reservations, and if you have a larger group, ask if we can accommodate.

JUMP BUILDING TOURS 

Location: Tour begins in the Lobby 

Take a JUMP building tour on Saturdays at 10:30AM! Guests will see how the JUMP spaces are uniquely designed to bring people together to promote creativity, innovation, and collaboration. We will visit five floors to see our creative studios, event spaces, park, and terraces! Sign up in advance (by 2pm on Friday) required please call 208.639.6610 for reservations or email tours@jumpboise.org.
