Our Dreamweaver Filmmaking Labs are open to film enthusiasts with all levels of experience from total newbie to certified pro! The Dreamweaver Collective creates films from start to finish with the final films being premiered at The Idaho Film Fair every January.

The Art Department is where visual storytelling comes to life. In this hands-on lab series, explore the many facets of art direction for film. From costume design and prop building to set dressing and production design, you’ll learn how visual elements shape a story. Collaborate with fellow creatives and gain practical skills as you help bring scenes to life one detail at a time.

ABOUT THE DREAMWEAVER COLLECTIVE:

The Dreamweaver Filmmaking Labs are part of a volunteer-based, collaborative PLAY Studio project with the mission to bring together a community to support local filmmakers, provide education to budding filmmakers, and get real life experience making movies!

We believe that the best way to learn filmmaking is by doing just that—making films.

We provide an open space where anyone with an interest in learning the ins-and-outs of film production can JUMP (pun intended) into the process at any level and learn from experienced professionals in a fast-paced, but supportive environment.
