AGES: All ages 5-105; minors need to be accompanied by their adult

Sewing and Cosplay Club is an all inclusive club were seamstresses and cosplayers can meet on the 3rd Tuesday of every month. Learning how to sew and want tips, tricks and pointers from more experienced individuals? Have your dream cosplay in mind, but do not know where to start? Have sewing experience or want to brush up on your skills, but do not have access to a sewing machine? The Sewing and Cosplay Club is the perfect place to help you on your sewing journey, or just to connect and make new friends within the community.

DATES: 9/15, 10/20, 11/17, 12/15, 1/19, 2/16, 3/16, 4/20, 5/18, 6/15, 7/20, 8/17, 9/21, 10/19

PARTICIPANTS WILL LEARN:

• Basic Sewing skills

• Advanced sewing skills

• Ins and Outs of cosplay secrets

• Low budget/safe for your wallet tricks

• How to read and modify patterns

TAKEAWAYS:

• Your project/cosplay/costume

• New and additional knowledge

• New Friends!

NECESSARY EXPERIENCE:

Every skill level. Everyone with no knowledge of sewing or cosplay, to the pros with many years of experience

WHAT TO BRING:

Suggested, but not required:

• Any and all materials and supplies you need for your project

• Sewing Machine

• Mannequin/dress form

• Cutting mat/cutters

• Any other sewing supplies you would like to bring for you to use. Again, not required, but is suggest.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:

This club is for all types of sewers. Quilters, fixers, crafters, cosplayers, costumers, etc.
