The 7/29 event will be held upstairs at JUMP Boise, in the 5th floor lobby area.

Whether you’re looking to practice a new language or help others with theirs, each week you’ll find welcoming conversation tables for Spanish, French, German, and English.

On any given week, you can also find tables for other languages like Mandarin, Arabic, Hebrew, Portuguese, Italian, ASL, and more! If these languages are of interest to you, we recommend you join the MeetUp page and post about your interest so others will be encouraged to join you.

Just show up, pick a table, and start chatting! This is a casual language exchange—no formal instruction—so a basic level (or willingness to listen and learn) is helpful. All levels, from beginner to native speaker, welcome.

PARTICIPANTS WILL LEARN:

• Casual, real-world conversation practice in the language(s) of their choice

• Increased confidence speaking with others in a low-pressure environment

• Cultural exchange through informal dialogue with native and non-native speakers

• Note: this is not a structured class, so there are no set lessons or guaranteed takeaways each week

Currently, our most active language tables are Spanish, French, and German. We are also now offering a table for those interested in practicing English.

Speakers of all languages are welcome—we’re always eager to expand! From time to time, attendees come to practice American Sign Language, Arabic, Japanese, Italian, Portuguese, and more.
