Program Details

WHEN: Oct 24, 2024

TIME: 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

THURSDAY OCTOBER 24TH | 6:30-8:30PM | 5TH FLOOR LOBBY & MOVE STUDIO

Survivorship Wellness is a pilot program started earlier this year at JUMP, offering a safe space for cancer survivors to share and connect on a deeper level, developing a sense of camaraderie and sisterhood as they prepared to participate in Expedition Inspiration’s 2024 Climb for the Cure.

Members met once a week for ten weeks at JUMP and other offsite locations to enjoy new experiences ranging from sound healing to yoga, qi gong, pound, dancing, mindfulness, and more, all in preparation for their journey toward Hyndman Peak.

On October 24th, climb participants are returning to JUMP to reflect on their experiences and showcase their personal journeys. Join us at JUMP for Hope for a Cure: A Night of Inspirational Stories and Images. Hear stories from the climbers about their journey to the summit and listen to members of Expedition Inspiration share how they are fighting to END BREAST CANCER by funding research, empowering collaboration, and cultivating inspiration.

This special evening will also include a photography exhibit by Chad Estes of the Reveal Mission. Chad is a compassionate cancer advocate, a hospice Chaplain, and a talented spokesman, storyteller, and photographer. His mission is to facilitate healing in those who have scars that they choose to gently uncover.

Chad offers this art therapy process for breast cancer patients and survivors through conversation and interviews, personal portraits, and if desired a collaboration with these women to share their portraits and stories publicly.

Chad’s exhibit will be in the MOVE studio during the event. Chad asks that whoever enters the exhibit to please honor these women’s courage and respect their journeys.
