StoryCorps is a nationally-recognized independent nonprofit, sharing stories with the public through podcasts, animated shorts, digital platforms, and best-selling books, even sharing stories weekly on NPR to over 12 million listeners. StoryCorps is committed to the idea that everyone has an important story to tell and that everyone’s story matters. Their mission: to help us believe in each other by illuminating the humanity and possibility in us all — one story at a time. 

JUMP is launching the first official Story Corps program in Idaho through our PLAY Studio!

Weekly Slot Times:

Wednesdays: 5-6PM; 6:30-7PM
Thursdays: 12-1PM; 1:30-2:30PM; 3-4PM
Fridays: 9-10AM; 10:30-11:30AM

ADDITIONAL INFO:

  • StoryCorps sessions are usually two person interviews. You will come with a companion. One of you will be the interviewer and one of you will be the interviewee. Or, you can interview each other. It is possible, but uncommon to have 3-4 people in the booth for an interview. 

  • There is no host.

  • You have 1 hour in the studio. The first 15 minutes will be devoted to an orientation and mic check and then you will have 45 minutes for your interview. 

  • Interview participants must by 13 years of age or older. 

  • Once you sign up you will receive a confirmation email with all the details, helpful documents, directions, etc.
