World Down Syndrome Day Celebration!

Experience the incredible talents of the Treasure Valley at our upcoming expo and talent show! Join us to witness the extraordinary abilities of individuals with Down syndrome. The event will feature a dazzling array of performances and displays, including singing, dancing, visual arts, and floral design. Don't miss this inspiring celebration of creativity and skill! This World Down Syndrome Day first-of-it's-kind event in the Treasure Valley!

Down Syndrome is often misunderstood due to outdated assumptions about intellectual capabilities. Individuals with Down Syndrome frequently have a wide range of abilities. Many possess strong cognitive skills, unique talents, and lead fulfilling lives. This first-ever event in the Treasure Valley event is a showcase of those abilities and talents, and also a fundraiser for the Treasure Valley Down Syndrome Association, a 501(c)3 non-profit.

There will be an expo showcasing creative talents, followed by a one-hour performance of music and dance. TVDSA is grateful to JUMP for hosting this event (in the JUMP Room!), Power Music and Dance Studio for coordinating the talent show portion of the event, and to the EpicUnion Band for playing some fun music at the Dance Party afterwards! There will also be delicious food provided by Thomas Cuisine!
