Crochet for Absolute Beginners

Stand-alone workshop is open to anyone age 15+. No special experience required. Workshop is intended for those with little to no knowledge of crochet.  

Crochet for Absolute Beginners 

INSTRUCTOR: Chloe Kennedy

If you’ve always been curious about crochet, but not sure where to start, this is the class for you! Welcome to our judgement free zone, where all questions are welcome! At the end of class you’ll walk away with a dish scrubbie and a firm grasp on the most essential skills of crochet. Have a project you’re aspiring to? Bring that along as well and we can talk about what it’ll take to make your crochet goals a reality.   

This class is for people who have literally no to basically no crochet experience. Full dexterity in both wrists is recommended. If this is an issue for you, please don’t let that deter you from taking this class! Let us know and we’d love to discuss accommodations with you. 

Each participant will get to keep the scrubbie they make in class and enough yarn to start making a second. 

Materials to bring: If you have projects you’re aspiring to make, bring pictures or patterns and we can talk about how feasible that is and what skills you’d need to figure out to make that happen. All other materials will be provided. 

There are two opportunities to take this stand-alone workshop: 5/30, 6/20
