WHEN: Jan 18, 2025
TIME: 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm
SATURDAY JANUARY 18TH | 5-9PM | PIONEER ROOM | FREE
You are invited to a celebration of creativity and fanciful fun in the JUMP Pioneer Room for the annual local Dreamweaver Film Festival!
Amateur and professional filmmakers from the Boise, the Treasure Valley, Idaho, and the greater Mountain West region have been invited to premier their short films (15 minutes and under) in a variety of genres. This year's theme is MAGIC.
The DreamWeaver Collective, a local group of film professionals, novices, amateurs, enthusiasts, beginners, etc., have worked together to create a handful of short films. The past year they have gone through scriptwriting, casting, set production, acting, directing, editing, and more to create short films from scratch. They will be premiered at the festival alongside the submissions from local and regional filmmakers!
Food and drinks will be available for purchase.
FILM SUBMISSIONS ARE NOW OPEN!
LOCALLY MADE FILMS TAKE PRIORITY!
The Dreamweaver Film Festival is officially open for submissions once again, and this time there have been some changes!
Dreamweaver Film Festival has been re-oriented to specifically feature IDAHO AND GREATER MOUNTAIN WEST REGION SHORT FILMS. We are looking for shorts by filmmakers in Boise, the Treasure Valley, all of Idaho, and the nearby region.
If you are an Idaho filmmaker at any level of experience – from student to professional – now is the time to submit your short films to our festival. We are looking to highlight the great work being done in this state and this community. Our goal is to help Idaho filmmakers make connections, and to strengthen the local filmmaking community.
Films must be under 30 minutes in length and have been produced in or around Idaho and the Mountain West. Content must be equivalent to a PG-13 rating or under. (If you’re not certain if your film qualifies, go ahead and submit it – it’s free!)
