HULA HOOP MAKING

MONTHLY THURSDAYS | 5:30-7:30 PM

Monthly standalone workshops. Open to all ages, but those under 12 require one-on-one adult assistance (parents/guardians do not need to pay for a ticket for themselves if they do not wish to make their own hoop). Registration required.

LOCATION: MAKE Studio

In this hands-on workshop, you'll design and build your very own custom hula hoop, tailored to your size, style, and spirit. You’ll choose your tubing, pick your colors, and learn the basics of hoop sizing and taping. Leave with a beautiful, functional hoop that you created — and the ability to deepen your flow journey beyond our Spin Jams. 

INSTRUCTOR: Krissy Humphreys  

 

PARTICIPANTS WILL LEARN:  

  • Different sizes and types of hula hoop tubing 

  • How to measure the ideal size hoop for yourself. 

  • Cut the tubing with a PVC cutter.  

  • Drilling and connecting the hula hoop with a snap rivet.  

  • How to properly tape a hula hoop with both reflective and grip tape.  

  • Problem solving at each step.

Cancellations made less than 14 calendar days are nonrefundable. If JUMP cancels the workshop for any reason, attendees will be issued a full refund with fees.
