StoryCorps DIY returns to JUMP with a goal to record and preserve 1,000 stories of Idahoans like you. first official StoryCorps program in Idaho through our PLAY Studio

JUMP recently had our ten year anniversary, and we are reflecting on the moment in time that JUMP came to be. We are inviting members of the community to share a story of their own about a moment in the past that was meaningful, life altering, or holds a special place in your heart. Anniversaries, the birth of a child, a special date, a concert, a vacation, or a simple sweet memory.

Mark the Moment is an opportunity to ask someone you know about their life or share a memory together. For 45 minutes, the two of you can talk about a moment in time that you want to commemorate. You might ask questions like:

Can you tell me about a moment when a person’s kindness made a difference in your life?

Could you tell me about your wedding day?

Will you share the story of my birth?

At the end of the conversation, participants receive a free recording to share with family and friends. With permission, a copy will be preserved in the StoryCorps archive and the Library of Congress.  Stories Unite Us is an audio project only; no video will be taken.

RESERVATIONS REQUIRED. RESERVE YOUR SPACE.
