SHOW DESCRIPTION:
In this lively Treasure Valley Children’s Theater youth production—perfect for audiences of all ages—Robin Hood bursts to life in an action-packed adventure filled with lots of comedy and heart. Robin is an outlaw living in Sherwood Forest, where he and his band of Merry Men provide refuge and aid to the oppressed. The story unfolds during King Richard the Lionheart's absence on a crusade, leaving his brother, Prince John, to rule England. Prince John, aided by the corrupt Sheriff of Nottingham and the scheming Lady Merle of Cornwall, seeks to solidify his power by forcing Maid Marian, Robin's childhood sweetheart, into marriage. Robin Hood and his band must thwart these plans, rescue Marian, and ensure that justice prevails in Nottingham until King Richard's return.
