Stamp Making

Stand-alone workshop is open to anyone age 15+. No special experience required.  

Stamp Making 

INSTRUCTOR: Chloe Kennedy    

Lino-cut printing is a fun way to turn a piece of art into something you can share infinitely in the form of fabric patches, t-shirts, posters, cards, etc. Plus, the process is simple and satisfying! This class is approachable to people with any level of artistic experience and all materials will be provided. At the end of this class you’ll have made a 3”x3” stamp and practiced transferring stamps onto paper and/or fabric.   

Participants will learn:  

• Different tools for carving linoleum  

• How to design a stamp  

Each participant will get to keep the stamp they make and any prints or patches they make during class.   

Materials to bring: If you have a design in mind, show up with a doodle.  If you have block printing supplies, you’d like to try out you’re welcome to bring them along, but it’s not necessary, as we’ll be providing all the supplies needed.
