Acting Intensive (Ages 13-18)

ACTING INTENSIVE

TUESDAY-FRIDAY JULY 14TH-17TH + 21ST-24TH | 1-4 PM

Workshop series for teenagers, eight days across two weeks. Cost is for entire series; signing up commits you to attend all eight dates. Perfect for any teen who wants to act, explore performance, or try something new. Some experience is helpful, but not necessary.

LOCATION: SKIP ANNEX

A focused and supportive week-long training program designed to help teens build confidence, communication skills, and professional acting technique. Students will explore acting for camera, stage performance, and auditions while strengthening their skills in voice, movement, presence, and script work. Through monologues, scene study, on-camera exercises, and ensemble activities, participants learn how to express themselves clearly, think creatively, and perform with confidence in a variety of settings. Whether you are new to acting or already have experience, this intensive offers high-quality training that develops discipline, self-assurance, and real-world performance skills in a fun and encouraging environment.

PARTICIPANTS WILL LEARN:

• Acting skills for camera, stage, and auditions

• Confidence, presence, and comfort performing in front of others

• Stronger voice, speech, and movement techniques

• Script analysis, monologues, and scene study skills

• Audition tools, collaboration skills, and professional rehearsal habits

WHAT TO BRING:

• Journal for notes

• Comfortable clothes to move in

• Encouraged to bring phones/cameras for final performances to be filmed

2. CANCELLATION POLICY: If you are no longer able to attend, a full refund (minus service fees) is available for cancellations made up to 2 weeks (14 calendar days) prior to the workshop start date. Cancellations made less than 14 calendar days are nonrefundable. If JUMP cancels the workshop for any reason, attendees will be issued a full refund with fees.
